Schedule a shared experience of massage for yourself and a loved one with Couple’s Massage! A wonderful gift idea for birthdays and other holidays. All modalities listed on the site are offered in the couples massage sessions. Gift certificates available if you are giving to somebody else. Spring is here!

Apr 6, 2015

Now is the season for spring cleaning, garden planting, and more hours in the day to be active and using your body!  All the more reason to slow down, take some deep breaths, and tune into your muscles!  With increased activity  and exercise it is common to feel tension in neck, shoulder, chest and low-back muscles.  If you have recently taken up biking or running again as the weather clears up, you may be also feeling more awareness of your hips, thighs, and calves.  Extra tension can certainly be worked out through postural adjustments and conscientious stretching, and of course throwing a massage into the mix can only expedite your progress towards feeling fabulous again!  If you’ve read to the end of this post, mention it to me after your session and I’ll apply a $5.00 discount through the end of May 2015!

Just In Time for Valentine’s Day 2015!

Jan 13, 2015

We’ve added some new treats to the Synergy Massage repertoire just in time for that well-known day when we like to give a little extra love – to others and ourselves!  Introducing…(drumroll, please)…COUPLES MASSAGE and TANDEM MASSAGE!  Along with Debra Rocha, LMT and Chad Ravert, LMT, I will now be offering these two very special options to receive bodywork on a limited weekly basis – just on Saturdays and some Sundays.

Couples Massage is available upon request for a special shared experience with a loved one. Schedule a massage together with your sweetie or a friend and you’ll get to be together in the same room experiencing body and mind relaxation concurrently! This is an excellent way to accompany somebody who is new to massage therapy, or a fun way to surprise somebody on their birthday!

If you have never received a multi-hands massage, it is an experience you may not want to miss!  This is a lovely technique in which two massage therapists work together at the same time on one client. With Tandem Massage, we can coordinate our work so that we apply similar styles side by side, or we can split it so one therapist is applying energy work or CranioSacral Therapy while the other is doing more vigorous massage. Another choice is for us both to practice CranioSacral Therapy or energy work at the same time for a more profound, yet subtle experience.

Holiday Special 2014

Dec 2, 2014

In 21 days the daylight hours will begin lengthening again!  It’s a wonderful reason to celebrate, if you ask me!  As I mentioned in my previous blog post, the cooler season is a great time of year to get back into regular health regimes.  Self-care is of utmost importance during the colder winter season for maintenance of physical and emotional well-being.  With weather and health comments out of the way, it’s the moment to reveal this year’s holiday specials!

Starting today (December 1st) and running through December 31th, 2014, all gift certificates will be on sale!  The gift certificate/s don’t need to be given to somebody else – you may also give them to yourself :)  The sale is as follows:

Buy one gift certificate for $5.00 off the regular price.

Buy two gift certificates for $10.00 each off the regular price.

Three – five gift certificates will get you $15.00 each off the regular price.  Whew!  What a deal!

Please e-mail, or call/text (541) 514-7157 to make your appointment and pick up your gift certificates.

Please also mention that you saw this blog post in order to apply the special pricing.

Stay tuned for more seasonal specials to come!

Relaxing into Autumn (*hint* read thoroughly to find the hidden special!)

Oct 2, 2014

Suddenly behind us are the days of 90 degrees and upwards!  It seems that with the Fall Equinox we suddenly are back to “normal” Eugene weather: cold nights, cool mornings, regular rainfall, and daytime temps of 60′s and 70′s.  This change in the season is accompanied by a busier Eugene as the university students return and school starts up again for the under 18 crowd of Eugene natives, as well as all the teachers and administrators!  These changes may be welcome, but also accompanied by increased stress as we shift out of summer mode.  In addition, our immune systems can be put to the test, and sometimes our muscles will respond to cooler weather by tensing up if we don’t pay attention to this phenomenon.  It’s a great time of year to get back into regular exercise, yoga, and general health regimes.  Self-care is of utmost importance as we gear into the colder winter season – for maintenance of physical and emotional well-being.  If you have read this far into this post, you’ve come to the section where Synergy Massage offers a $15 discount for 1 hour massages scheduled during the month of October, 2014.  Just e-mail, call or text to make your appointment, and mention this blog post.  Please stay tuned for more seasonal specials to come!

If you work in an office, a restaurant or any profession, you may occasionally hear someone share their recent experience with an excellent massage therapist.  That person may have suffered from a sports accident, or a car accident prior to their massage.  Now that person feels great.  They’re going on, and on, talking about their massage therapist with everyone.  You’re getting…

Please, take their advice and get a massage (from me).  My clients have been sharing their satisfaction, as well.  Please take a look at my massage therapy testimonials.  Let’s address your pain, and your massage envy.  Call me today at 541-684-0066.
